Is your business insured and bonded?  Take Extra Care is insured and bonded.

Can you provide references from those that have used your service?  Take Extra Care can provide excellent references, residential and commercial.

Those are just a few questions you should ask your prospective carpet cleaner.

What is a fair price to pay for carpet cleaning, when looking to hire a carpet cleaner?

Just like the old saying goes, sometimes you get what you pay for.  The prices I charge for carpet cleaning and other services I provide are very reasonable.  I am not the least expensive option for a carpet cleaner here in the Lexington area.  But I will say this, I take great pride in my work.  I always take the necessary steps to make your carpet look its absolute best.  You can find less expensive carpet cleaner in the area, but if the price is really low- I would be very careful.  Be sure to check references and do proper research on the company you are hiring.

When you hire a carpet cleaner and have your carpet cleaned, how long should it take for the carpet to dry?

That is a great question.  I have heard quite a few stories from some of my clients that have hired other carpet cleaning services, prior to using my service.  They have told me that when using some companies- it has taken anywhere from 24 to 48 hours to dry.  That is entirely too long.  When it takes that long for carpet to dry after cleaning, they are not using adequate dry passes after the cleaning pass.  This is a necessary step in the carpet cleaning process, not only does the dry pass remove excess moisture, this step also extracts more soil, which means cleaner carpet and a better job.

My normal dry times for carpet cleaning are about 3 to 4 hours, it some cases it may take a little longer or a little less, but 3 to 4 hours is average.
